Orchard Shopping Centre, Taunton - Seasons Fashion Show
Bolt-on Marketing were asked by Orchard shopping centre, to help with the marketing and event management for their public fashion show for the second year running. The event took place at the end of September 2011 within the shopping centre in Taunton.
Bolt-on Marketing played a key role in the management of the event. This involved liaising with Somerset College, who were showcasing their graduate fashion work, top national model agencies, local schools, for younger model volunteers, stage and production companies, stylists and producers. We also organised a makeover competition and mini fashion events including quick fixes by Toni and Guy.
Supporting marketing materials included; posters, window graphics, mailers, leaflets, and regular website updates during the 2 month build up to the launch of the show.
Bolt-on Marketing also secured the services of Heart FM radio to not only run an extensive advertising campaign but provide daytime presenters for the 3 fashion shows and a promotional team on the day.
The show proved to be a huge success for all those involved.
Several thousand people – especially women and girls – were entranced last weekend as professional models strutted their stuff on the catwalk in a non-stop day of fashion in Taunton town centre.
